MLD2200H, MLD4000H and MLD5000H diesel generator comparison
These three MLBE diesel generators offer published rated-output pairs of 1.7 / 2.0 kW, 3.0 / 3.3 kW and 4.2 / 4.6 kW respectively. Each model lists a 12.5-litre fuel tank, with different engine and weight specifications. Compare the exact model column and confirm the voltage, frequency and starting requirements for the equipment to be powered.
Building a stepped MLD diesel-generator range
MLD2200H, MLD4000H and MLD5000H provide different listed output levels. For dealer stock, group enquiries by running load, motor starting demand and electrical configuration. Keep the exact model and frequency together on the quotation and product labels.
Configuration checklist
- List the equipment that must run together and identify motor or compressor starting demand.
- Specify voltage, frequency, phase, sockets and the required starting system; separate standard equipment from options.
- Include transport accessories, battery where applicable and the required model-specific service-parts package in the written order.
Should every connected load be added in the same way?
Separate loads that run together from those that are used at different times, and identify motors or compressors that need extra starting power. Check both continuous demand and the largest permitted starting event against the supplied generator.
Operation and service planning
Operate portable combustion generators outdoors, away from doors, windows and vents, with exhaust directed away from occupied areas. Never connect a generator to a building through a wall socket. A building connection requires a qualified electrician and suitable transfer equipment. Stop and cool the engine before refuelling.
State MLD2200H, MLD4000H or MLD5000H in the service record; the listed engine sizes are 211, 296 and 418 cc. Add the actual voltage, frequency, control-panel layout and starting system. Request the selected model’s engine and generator references before assembling a maintenance package. Contact MLBE technical support with these details. The MLBE document centre helps identify the relevant resources. Confirm document revision, included accessories, packaging and agreed support terms for the supplied configuration.
Compare MLD6500B-MLD12500B and MLD10000S for related MLBE options. For factory orders, provide quantities, destination, configuration and artwork requirements through MLBE dealer and OEM supply.
MLD2200H, MLD4000H and MLD5000H: choosing a model
How do I compare the three output options?
Compare each model’s rated output with the intended running load and starting requirements. The table separates rated and maximum output; specify both model and frequency when requesting a quotation.
Are all listed voltage options supplied on one unit?
Ask MLBE to confirm the selected voltage, phase, frequency and socket arrangement. The list of voltage options should not be treated as confirmation that every configuration is available on the same unit.
For order preparation, see the generator supplier checklist. Browse the diesel generator range, or request model-specific documents through MLBE technical support.
