MLBE ML-LG8D Crawler Tiller — Short OverviewShort · 2026-09-15 · Select to watch
ML-LG8D specifications at a glance
Published MLBE model specifications. Match the ordered configuration to these figures; field performance depends on the attachment and working conditions.
| Model-specific feature | Published reference |
|---|---|
| Engine | Water-cooled diesel, listed 5.67 kW / 8 HP at 3,000 rpm |
| Drive | Belt transmission and crawler tracks |
| Gears | 2 forward / 1 reverse |
| Starting | Manual start in published model table |
| Machine size and mass | 1,450 × 500 × 1,200 mm; 97 kg net |
| Standard / optional equipment | Plough standard; potato harvesters and a three-line ditching/grass-removal tool are optional, subject to connector compatibility |
Field-use evidence and fitment
The water-cooling configuration changes service and maintenance requirements compared with the petrol crawler. Confirm cooling-system parts, actual track width, approved attachment brackets and working depth in the supplied technical file. A tracked machine should not be marketed with a slope or drawbar rating inferred only from its drive type.
Compare with the lighter ML-LG173F diesel crawler. To prepare an independently useful cultivation test, record soil texture, moisture, initial compaction, blade arrangement, travel gear, measured working depth, engine rpm and cultivated area over time. These are suggested measurement fields, not MLBE test results.
Check the MLBE product manuals and request matching spare-parts drawings, an attachment fitment record and maintenance intervals from MLBE technical support. For a confirmed factory configuration enquire directly by email.
ML-LG8D crawler tiller application planning
ML-LG8D combines a tracked chassis with water-cooled diesel power. Plan access, headland space and the attachment task before choosing the machine. Track contact with the ground does not establish a safe slope rating or a permitted towing load.
Configuration checklist
- Describe soil condition, crop rows, access space and the intended ploughing, ditching or harvesting task.
- Confirm the connector, mounting and permitted operating arrangement for every proposed implement.
- Record the track and control configuration, starting equipment, packing details and model-specific service parts.
What should be checked when ordering harvesting tools?
For crop work, browse the potato harvester and three-row cultivating attachment. Provide row spacing and soil conditions so MLBE can check the required connector and exact ML-LG8D fit.
Operation and service planning
Check track condition, controls, guards and the fitted implement before work. Keep sufficient space for the operator and turns. Track drive does not establish a safe gradient or load limit; follow the machine-specific limits and stop all movement before adjustments or clearing obstructions.
For the applicable operating instructions or parts reference, send the complete model and production identification to MLBE technical support. The MLBE document centre helps identify the relevant resources. Confirm document revision, included accessories, packaging and agreed support terms for the supplied configuration.

8HP Water-Cooled Diesel Crawler Tiller for Demanding Field Work
The MLBE ML-LG8D crawler tiller combines a compact tracked chassis with a Water-cooled diesel engine. The crawler-track layout provides a broad ground-contact area for cultivation and field tasks where wheeled machines may have limited traction.
A belt transmission and two forward gears plus one reverse gear give the operator straightforward control. The machine is supplied with a plough, while optional potato-harvesting and three-line ditching or grass-removal tools can be selected for different crop and soil requirements.
For Cultivation, Ditching and Harvest Support
This compact tracked platform is suited to small farms, vegetable plots, orchards and other confined agricultural areas. Confirm soil conditions, working depth and required attachment with MLBE before ordering so the machine can be configured for the intended application.
